How do I login to Blackboard?

Login Instructions

1. Click on “myCVCC” in the upper right corner of the CVCC website
2. Log on with your username and password
   • To look up your username and create or reset your password click here
3. Once you log on, you can access your Blackboard courses, your E-mail, or get to the Student Information System. Click the Blackboard Logo/Text.
4. A new window opens and automatically logs you in to the Blackboard system

Where do I obtain my username and password for Blackboard?

Your username will be the same as your email address except you will omit the @email.vccs.edu. (example: jdoe225@email.vccs.edu; your username will be jdoe225). The first time you log on, your password will be your date of birth in mmddyy format and you will be re-directed to create a new secure password and secret question and answer.

Can I use an email address other than my CVCC email address to send correspondence to my instructor?

No. It is recommended that you use your CVCC provided, student email address.

How do I find out what my email address is?

Your email address will be given to you when your application for admission is processed. If you submit an online application, you will be provided with your information immediately. If you submit a paper application, your information will be mailed to you within 1 – 2 weeks.
