SIS/PeopleSoft Help
If you do not know your username, you can click the words "Look up your username"
on the login page. If you are new to your college you can look up your username
and set your password at the same time by clicking "Look up your username and set
your password" at the bottom of the login page.
- Go to cvcc.my.vccs.edu
- Enter your Username and Password
- Click the Log In button
- Once logged in, click VCCS SIS 8.9: Student Information System
The Student Center allows you to view your class schedule, add/drop classes, view
grades, print a degree progress report, view accounting and financial aid
information, make a payment, view demographic and name information. You can also
modify User Preferences from this page.
- Click Self Service
- Click Student Center
- Click the appropriate links within the Student Center to perform the necessary actions.
You should update your user preferences to point to the right institution and term.
User preferences must be changed each time you wish to view financial information
for each college. This only applies to students who are enrolled at multiple colleges.
- Click Self Service
- Click Student Center
- Scroll to the Personal Information section and click User Preferences
- Select the appropriate institution.
- Select the career
- Select the appropriate term (Use the magnifying glass for valid values)
- Select the financial aid year
- Click Save
To view or edit your Personal Information use the links at the bottom of the Student Center page.
- Demographic Data will allow you to view the following data:
- ID
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Birth Country
- Birth State
- Marital Status
- Ethnic Group
- Military Status
As well as social security number, citizenship, and driver’s license information, if recorded in the system.
- Names Will give you access to edit your name in the system.
- Contact Information The information found under contact information can each be edited by clicking the link above the data.
