Are you working with both a CVCC Counselor and a Transfer Counselor at the four
year school? If you want to transfer in two calendar years, you must follow the
curriculum published in the college catalog or it might not happen. That means you
need to take about 15 credits a semester plus summer classes.

Steps to a Smooth Transfer experience.
Earning an associate's degree does not always guarantee you junior status at a
four-year institution. If there is no transfer articulation agreement
between the school you are transferring to and CVCC or the VCCS, it may take you
longer than two more years to complete your bachelor's degree.
