How To Use The Testing Center

  1. Check with your instructor to verify that your exam is at the Testing Center or call the Testing Center.
  2. Present a PHOTO ID to the proctor at the desk in the Testing Center.
  3. Fill out a “Student Request for Test form”. You must know the instructor’s name and the course number so that you receive the right test.
  4. All items must be collected from you, the student, except what is allowed on the “Testing Information” form provided by the instructors. Phones are not allowed in the testing area.
  5. If you, the student, refuse to give your purse or other items to the testing personnel, the test cannot be administered.
  6. Complete your exam under the directions noted by the instructor or with accommodations noted by the Counseling Department. Tests must be completed in one sitting without the permission of the instructor. Students will not be permitted to complete any test after turning it in at the testing center unless the instructor requests otherwise.
  7. Come prepared with all necessary materials and supplies.
  8. Please give yourself enough time to complete your test before closing.
  9. Noise will be kept to a minimum within the Testing Center and test takers will be asked to refrain from talking or other distracting noise.
  10. Keeping up with the time limit is your responsibility. There is a clock located in the testing room.
